Welcome to Day 22 of Chasing THE Light Project: I Have Joy
Today’s verse comes from Psalm 30:5. “His anger lasts a moment; his favor lasts for life! Weeping may go on all night, but in the morning there is joy.”
Today, let's go to the One who comforts us in our darkest times because Light helps us to see and darkness helps us to hide. Praising Him shines Light on Him and points to the One who rescues, redeems, renews, and restores.
In order to receive the joy He gives we have to choose to turn towards Him. To know Him - we have to turn from what is keeping us away from Him. Pain and troubles will always be apart of this world - but it is only in His presence that we will know and understand the fullness of joy.
Keep giving thanks. Continue with your gratitude journal - because "joy is a function of gratitude and gratitude is a function of perspective." ~Ann Voskamp
