Today....I need grace Today...I need His grace that falls like snow The beauty of His grace...the snow that beautifies everything it touches...Just like Jesus.   "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." ~Hebrews 4:16 Winter Snow Lyrics below by Chris Tomlin Could've come like a mighty storm With all the strength of a hurricane You could've come like a forest fire With the power of heaven in Your flame But You came like a winter snow Quiet and soft and slow Falling from the sky in the night To the earth below You could've swept in like a tidal wave Or an ocean to ravish our hearts You could have come through like a roaring flood To wipe away the things we've scarred But You came like a winter snow (Yes, You did) You were quiet You were soft and slow Falling from the sky in the night To the earth below Oh, no, Your voice wasn't in...

This is our word for the week in Proverbs 31 OBS and I’m taking this in a different direction. Dictionary.com defines beneficial as: “conferring benefit, advantageous; helpful.” Is this storm helpful?   What I determine to be beneficial may not be what you determine beneficial and I’m betting it’s not what God determines to be beneficial.  I only see what is right in front of me- I can’t see all that God sees.   My seeing is not omniscient. ...
