In just a week or so our schedules are going to change. Summer is coming to a close and the busy season is about to begin. I find it easier to focus on Jesus when my schedule is less hectic...and this is the very reason I started the Chase The Light Project years ago. As someone who likes to take pictures - I'm always chasing the light and as someone who wants to keep Jesus front and center in my life - I chase Him. Jesus is THE LIGHT. Chasing Him - to me - means keeping my eye on Him throughout the day. Not missing Him. Including Him. Looking for His guidance and hearing His whispers throughout my day. If I allow myself to be immersed in my schedule - I miss Him. I become more anxious and I become less patient. So, I put into practice what Paul says to do. "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praise worthy - think about such things. ...
