Sweet and Sour 365

There is always something...but can I be honest? There are those day when I feel like I really have to dig to find those things. But when I start digging my attitude starts to change. If you need to today - dig deep. There is treasure to be found.

Happy Tuesday - don't make it a regular Tuesday morning. Change up your normal routine. Give thanks! We've been given a gift of today. Count your blessings - choose joy and dance!

We think our past is too bad or we are too messed up for Him to use us. But God! But God will use you...He equips the called.

Truth for your Saturday

We made it....the end of the another week! Enjoy His creation today...see it through His lens. Seeing it through His lens...we become hunters of beauty. When we change the way we see things we can change everything. All of it points to Him.

Whether you have been listening to Him or not - He has been guiding you. You are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are not unloved. You are held, seen, loved and set apart with a purpose. He has you in YOUR place for such a time as this. "...wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you." (Josh. 1:3 NLT)

So, do you always try and fix everything? I find myself doing this and sometimes that just isn't enough. Jesus tells us that "apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) With Him - we can do anything. Invite Him into your day right now...and trust Him to do the heavy lifting.

How can you heal? Watch what you say. Speak words that give life to others and yourself. When you speak kind words that heal and help...grace can walk in. And when grace walks in...hearts change. So today, instead of name calling, stone throwing, or doors slamming in faces...listen to hearts and speak life that builds bridges to lasting relationships.

Don't stop now. Don't let fear stop you from doing what He asks of you. Get out of your comfort zone and fear nothing. Tell fear to flee - because God is with you and then say, "I trust You!" And remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear...but power, love and a sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7 NIV)

Do you need this truth today too? His mercies are new every morning...may this truth wash over you this morning. You are loved.

In Him we are secure. Nothing is too big to take Jesus off His throne. We aren't designed to carry our burdens...lay them at His feet and trust that He is equipping us for our today-calling. Have a JOYful Friday!

I've read that sheep have poor depth perception and that because of this they always move towards the light. I love that - move towards the light. Today, gather your flock and keep moving towards THE LIGHT. "he who is not with Me is against Me, and he who is not doing the Father’s work of gathering up the flock may as well be scattering the flock." ~Matt. 12:30.

A Mid-Week Pause: Grace - something we don't deserve but God gives abundantly. The blah moments...the beautiful moments - ALL of the moments always leaves me so desperately dependent on God's great grace. Pause and breathe in His grace...then grant grace. All is grace.

I forget that He sees the whole picture. I get so wrapped up in the day to day that I think it's about me and forget. Be He holds it all. He is present with us - always. He is speaking to us - always. He is moving all around us - always...and He is always loving us. Pay attention today and see Him.

A new week! Savor this one life - your children - God's creation - instead of wishing for more time. Don't allow the little annoyances to grab hold. Let them go. Linger a little longer with Him this morning. When we linger first thing...we bring Him with us throughout the day. Happy Monday.

Give God room to move in your life. Be available to Him. Start your day with Him. Unrush - Sit - Listen - Breathe. Let go of one thing on your "to do" list today and pay attention. Watch Him move throughout your day. "but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” ~Luke 10:42
