Day 31 of 31 Days of Chasing THE Light

Reflecting Light

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” ~John 10:10

Today is day 31 of 31 Days of Chasing THE Light.  My hope is that these posts have encouraged, inspired, and ignited something within you to want to chase His Light.  I know that some days are hard and messy…but He holds you in His hands.  He cups your face and says, “Look to Me. I AM with you and I AM all you need.”

When we make ourselves the center of all things we can’t possibly reflect His light. When we make Him the center of our lives – we will shine so bright that people will say, “There is something different about you, you shine.” Yes, it will be hard at times but the road less traveled is a road I’d rather be on because apart from Him - I can do nothing.

Let His Light spark your heart so that you will say what His disciples said, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” (Luke 24:32)
Focus on The Light - Jesus. Don't let what macular degeneration does to your retina – do to your soul. He is always good. Don't allow the darkness to fill the eyes of your soul. Stand guard and fight! He is always loving. Don’t let the dark circles develop in your line of vision. Look to Him...He is always with you.  Find The Light and stand in it.

Be a Light chaser today and always. Find The Light and stand in it. Then shine for those around you...reflecting His Light.

Fill me – Jesus – Fill us!

“If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine!” ~Matthew 5:15 (MSG)
