“Be very careful then, how you live, not as unwise, but as
wise- making the most of every opportunity.”
~Eph. 5:15-16.
Life is moving fast…too fast for me sometimes.
We are planning a party here for my mini me and she is
turning “double digits!” Double
digits!
During this party planning stage I have been doing lots of reminiscing
about parties past. How we always plan
it together….the theme, the decorations, the games and crafts, the food, the
list of friends, and of course the cake!
As I think about all the parties so far…I get sad for how fast life
seems to be moving.
Thinking about the speed of life has me thinking of how I
spend my time sometimes. Now is the time
to nurture “real” relationships. My time
and energy belong to the things that will yield the greatest eternal
impact.
What is important is who is at my table. The people I can always count on. God and my family.
“They say time is money, but that's not true. Time is
life. And if I want the fullest life, I need to find fullest time... the
busyness of your life leaving little room for the source of your life...God
gives us time. And who has time for God? Which makes no sense.” ~Ann Voskamp
